Tamper-Actuated Fluid Release Firearm
Abstract
- The apparatus and associated methods relate to a firearm lock configured to release a self-hardening interlock fluid into the firing chamber of a firearm in response to a predetermined force. In an illustrative example, the firearm lock may include an engagement module configured to releasably couple to a firing chamber of the firearm. In a locked mode, for example, the engagement module may prevent the firearm from firing. The firearm lock may include, for example, a tamper-resistant interlock module containing interlock material (1M) in a fluid state. When a predetermined force is applied to the tamper interlock module, for example, the 1M may be dispensed from the cavity into the firing chamber and the 1M may at least partially transition into a solid state such that the 1M prevents the firearm from firing. Various embodiments may advantageously disable a locked firearm in response to tampering with the lock.

ADAPTABLE FENCE BRACING
Abstract
- Apparatus and associated methods relate to fence bracing apparatus having a tension adjusting module(s) to diagonally brace a fence post(s) and/or adaptive fence bracket(s) for flexibly bracing the fence post(s) for various fence configurations. In an illustrative example, a fence tensioning module may include a tension regulation module coupled to a tension-adjusting link. For example, the fence tensioning module may adjust the position of the tension adjusting link relative to the fence tensioning module so that the tension of the tension adjusting link is adjusted. The adaptive fence bracket, for example, may include a butterfly clamp and an adaptive C-bracket having two sidearms configured to couple, for example, to fence rails and/or other tension members to form various fence bracing configurations. The butterfly clamp, for example, may include a ridge portion to engage the blade of the fence post. Various implementations may advantageously provide adaptive and secure fence construction.

Abstract
- Apparatus and associated methods relate to an access control system having a planar interlocking mechanism including two reflectively symmetric rotating moon gears mechanically coupled by a linear slide configured to respond to the rotation of the moon gears. In an illustrative example, the moon gears are mechanically coupled to the linear slide via respective actuating cams. The moon gears may be provided, for example, with locking cams configured to releasably secure the linear slide via a corresponding follower on the linear slide. The rotation of one moon gear into a first mode may, for example, place the other moon gear in a second mode, and vice versa. Each moon gear may be configured, for example, to be operated by a removable peg. Various embodiments may advantageously be configured such that the release of a removable peg from one moon gear captures a peg in a corresponding moon gear.

Abstract
- Apparatus and associated methods relate to a fluid dispensing device that includes a dispensing bristle for selectively dispensing fluid onto an application surface. In an illustrative example, the fluid dispensing device may include a tapered cylindrical valve for flow control. For example, upon applying a predetermined pressure, the tapered cylindrical valve may be opened, allowing the fluid dispensing device to dispense a small amount of fluid (e.g., medicine, soap, shampoo, coconut oil, plant extract combinations) onto an application surface. Various embodiments may advantageously allow a user to dispense a selective amount of the medicine to the scalp.
